Lake Thunderbird

Volunteers have not been able to receive approval from the Parks Department for trail work since spring, so conditions remain poor. At this time, it is uncertain whether we will be allowed to return for maintenance in the fall. Please be aware that nothing has been repaired since the heavy rains earlier this year, and no trimming has been completed. We are eager to get back to work, but until circumstances change, the future of the trail system remains uncertain.

Roman Nose State Park

Moderately overgrown; 80% of the trail is rideable. Due to Lake Boecher dam repairs, the trailhead near the general store is closed. Park at the lodge and access the trails from the lodge hiking trail on the east side of the parking lot.

Dirt Surferz Enduro Race will have some short sections of trails closed Saturday and Sunday. They will be marked with caution tape. Find alternate route. Parking lots will be busy, might be a good time to try new trails in the tulsa area.
