Trails have dried out enough to partially open the system. Please avoid the Balsam Connector area and turn back if you start to leave ruts deeper than your tire tread on any trail. The majority of the older trails are in good shape. Beware for debris and trees on the trail as we are just beginning spring cleaning. If you encounter a puddle or muddy spot on an otherwise dry trail, ride THROUGH the mud! This prevents trail widening and braiding which are the primary trail damage reason for trail closures in the spring. Get out and enjoy but please think before you sink and do your part to minimize your impact on the trail!
