Overview
From U.S. 53 take exit 143 for WI-48 toward Rice Lake. Travel 1.2 miles East on WI-48 and turn right on N Main Street. Go south on N Main Street 0.8 mile and turn left on E Sawyer street (County Road C). Continue 7.6 miles until just past a sharp left turn on a steep hill, then turn right on the gravel road which is 27 1/2 Street. Entrance is in 0.5 miles, either park at the gate, or if the gate is open you can park at the trail head.
