Benavides Park trails are mainly dry, but use caution with ruts caused by a motocross bike or something that rode the trails muddy.

Updates are provided directly by trail maintainers.

Unfortunately, the Monte Bella Trails are completely overgrown. We will be coordinating a trail maintenance day some time in November with the City of Brownsville Parks. 

Trails got more rain this morning, Friday 10/10/25, but the sun is baking them as we speak. Henry Roberts Loop and The Thicket have several soft and muddy parts that should be hero or better by the race on Sunday. We have re-routed the exit to Six Shooter due to extreme erosion at the original exit right before the paved trail. The trails are taped with plastic poles and trail signs have been placed.
