Britton Peak
britton peak trails have recieved 5” of rain over the past two weeks…meaning drains are active and likely to be sporting some of our under-appreciated muck. upland sections are riding well. if it rains, give some time for our system to recover before getting after our awesome trails.
Jackpot/High Climber
with several weeks of rain, our north woods landscape has reached its saturation point. drains are wet and more significantly, bedrock sections are exhibiting sheet flow and can be treacherous for both tire or foot travel. be careful!!! all trails have been derocked…who would have thought there was dirt under all the pebbles and cobble!! high climber remains closed as construction continues. the gates are up for a reason. respect for our trails is greatly appreciated!!
Pincushion Mountain
Friday evening update.....it seems as if we've reached full saturation of the soil with the past weather cycle we've been experiencing. Trails are open, but wet. Especially wet in and around areas of bedrock. Some of the drains on the trails are also wet and greasy. Please ride through wet areas on the low side of the trails when possible.
