Black Partridge Park

Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk. Winter parking is available immediately south of the main gate. Black Partridge park is located on the Northwest side of Metamora. This trail system was built by PAMBA and volunteers working with the Metamora Park District and is designed for hiking and biking use. The trails wind through a deep ravine and up steep hillsides to wooded plateaus. There are numerous bridges crossing the creek in the ravine. The park currently hosts over 8 miles of singletrack trail, with the opportunity to grow.

Weather Policy

BPP does not have an official weather policy, but it is recommended to wait at least 24 hours after a rain event to give the trails time to firm up. Please use good judgement and if you are leaving tracks please turn back.
