I did some storm cleanup early this morning and as usual for this summer the trail is very damp, slick and greasy. More storm chances over the next couple days. Still holding out hope for a drier weather pattern in the near future - it's been a tough start to the season. Please be aware that the park at Waukau Dam is undergoing construction over the summer. During this period the MTB trail will remain open as weather permits but parking and trail access will be affected. Overview

Waukau Dam Mountain Bike Trail is a roughly two and a half mile, single track mountain bike trail that meanders along the steep hillsides and through the deep ravines of the Waukau Dam Nature Preserve. The trail is a “two way” trail, so always be on the look out for other riders and hikers. The trail is open for riding year-round (fat tire bikes are required for winter riding), weather permitting. The trail is closed to riding anytime it is wet or muddy.
