Overview

Calumet County Park is located on Lake Winnebago and is accessed from county road EE, off of highway 55 between Sherwood and Stockbridge. The Summer Trailhead is at the end of the upper park road, near campsite 72. Winter Trailhead is the eastern part of the Fishtail Bar and Grill’s parking lot. Sun Run trail at Calumet County Park was built in 2019 and is the first of several phases of a project to restore singeltrack trails at Calumet County Park. The name "Sun Run" is a tribute to the WORS race that was held at this park several years ago. It is a beginner trail with a few small unavoidable rocks. The segment nearest the ledge has more rocks to navigate, and is more of an intermediate segment.
