Hidden Valley

Parking and latrines available at trail head. No public access to water. Donations always appreciated and can be left in the lockbox by the signboard. Ely Nordic Ski and Bike club members can access the chalet to get water or use inside bathrooms. Become a member at elynordic.org. Enter trails by proceeding east from the parking lot on the ski trail past the building with the donor sign boards, down the hill. Single track entrance on the right at the bottom of the hill. Skills course is south of the Chalet up the hill.

Weather Policy

Most loops (Magic Carpet, Ely Airlines, Big Pines, Erratic Behavior) are generally dry 2-3 hours after a light rain. The Outback loop may need up to 24 hours to be ridable again. In cases of heavy rain and extended periods of precipitation we will close trails until they are ready to ride again. Please use good judgement and avoid riding if you leave an imprint regardless of official trail open status.
