Big Eau Pleine County Park

leaf blowing has started from the main parking lot heading south. Conditions are fair. Soil is dry, but there are some trees down in need of clearing. Low water level in the reservoir so good beach riding right now.

Prairie Dells

The bridge across the Prairie River is complete. For now, if you’re taking a bike to the bridge you may want to walk it. The straw mesh used for erosion control needs to settle down and secure itself to the ground. All trails are in excellent shape and this is a perfect time of year to ride them. Leave the trails drain for 24 hours after substantial rainfall (>0.5 inches).

Underdown Recreation Area

Most of Main Course and Hollow have been leaf blown. The trails are in exquisite fall condition. Let the trails drain for 3 hours after substantial rainfall (>0.5 inches). NOTE: The CAUTION tape on Round Top (part of Main Course) is up to identify the location of boardwalks for logging operations that will occur at some point.
