Tower Park

Tower Park is a scenic, 86.6-acre park perched on a hillside overlooking the Ohio River. Originally a military reserve base, portions of the land have been repurposed over time, though a VA facility and reserve base still remain. Today, the park serves as a vibrant community hub, offering sports facilities, playgrounds, multi-use trails, shelters, an armory with basketball courts, the Mess Hall event center, and a weekly farmers market. Recent restoration efforts have improved the park’s natural environment, with stream rehabilitation projects and the removal of invasive plant species. Native grasses have been reintroduced, and ephemeral wildflowers bloom in the spring, enhancing the park’s ecological value.
