Trail Systems (7)
Hartley Park/UMD/Chester
Not enough rain to close things. Its in great shape.
Lester Park Trail Center/Downer
Downer, Morningside, and Hawk Ridge open. Amity East/West and Lester River Trail closed.
Mission Creek Trail Center
Drenched again overnight, and the clay seems to be retaining all of it. Trails unfortunately remain closed - it's starting to dry but it's still impossibly slippery out there.
Piedmont/Brewer/Enger/Keene
Piedmont and Brewer is open! probably a little greasy still. we will see what the weather does today! Weekly trail work -Thanks for all your help rerouting Foxx Rocks! The new trail is riding great and is a massive improvement over what was there before. Now that that's done, it's time to head... right back to the same place! Rudy has been hard at work with the excavator, and has nearly finished a 1000-foot double-black extension of Lumpy Divots that features two large slab rolls and a number of other tricky rock moves. This week, we'll be helping out by building the return trail to connect the bottom of the extension to the new section of Foxx Rocks and doing some hand-tuning where needed. We will be meeting this Thursday, July 3 at 5pm on Skyline Parkway where it crosses Merritt Creek.
Pine Valley
Pine Valley trails drain quickly and rarely close due to rain. Get out and enjoy! As always report any issues via a TrailBot or the Cloquet Singletrackers Facebook page.
Pokegama Trail
The beavers have been busy on the west end of the trail (right near McClure's road). Please use caution when navigating the downed trees; we're working to get them cleared up.
Split Rock Wilds
All trails open and wet. The trails near Split Rock Lighthouse State Park are very wet.
