Farside Bike Park

Trail Conditions & Open/Closed status will be updated by 7:00am Saturdays and Sundays. Riders should familiarize themselves with the Mountain Bikers Responsibility Code & Pre-ride, Re-ride, Free-ride. Helmets are required at all times on all downhill mountain bike trails & in the skills development area of the Farside Bike Park. We strongly recommend the use of full-face helmets. Equipment allowed in the Farside Bike Park is limited to mountain bikes. Adaptive bikes and other equipment must be approved in advance by the resort. Trailers, Mountain Boards, child seats, tandem bikes, and unauthorized motor vehicles are not allowed in the Bike Park or on the chairlift. Rim Brakes are not recommended. Bikes may be subject to approval by Chestnut Mountain staff. Only no-throttle, Class 1 E-Bikes will be permitted. Closed toe and heeled, sturdy sneakers are required. First Aid services are only available during chairlift operating hours. While there is no age minimum for the bike park, to ride the chairlift, bike tires need to be a minimum of 20" and children must be competent riders. It is not recommended that children under the age of 13 ride alone. A waiver is required. Parent or guardian signature required for riders under 18.
